2010 Judging Sessions
Judging will take place on Friday January 29th and Saturday January 30th, 2010.All judging sessions will take place at the Grumpys in Roseville. Grumpys is located at 2801 Snelling Avenue North (map).
Friday Sessions
- 8:30 - 9:00 am - Setup and Registration
- 9:00 - 11:15 am - Judging Session 1
- 11:30 - 12:30 - Lunch for Volunteers & Seminar: historic english beer styles and tasting
- 12:45 - 3:00 pm - Judging Session 2
- 3:00 - 5:30 pm - Judging Session 3
- 5:45 - 7:00 pm - Dinner for Volunteers
- 7:00 - 9:00 pm - Judging Session 4 (if necessary)
- 9:00 - midnight - Indoor Pub Crawl and Beer Sharing
Indoor Pub Crawl and Beer Sharing
- English beers will be available on tap at the bar in Grumpys at a discount.
- Special beers will be on tap for free to judges.
- Special bottles and growlers will be provided free to judges.
- 'Pour and Pass' beer sharing: Judges are required to bring one bottle of something 'special' for entry to Beer night. This encourgaes sharing special beers with fellow judges and stories.
- 'Face to Face' beer judging and problem solving: A table will be staffed with advanced judges to talk with you about your beers. It can range from off-flavor problem solving to recipe formulation. Bring whatever beers, meads, or cders along with the recipe and your notes. Sit down and have a chat with our judges. You may even learn something!

- 3:00 - 5:00 pm - Best of Show Judging (closed to public)
- 7:00 - 8:30 pm - English and Scottish Themed Beer Banquet
- 8:30 -10:30 pm - Awards Presentation & raffle
